This week I asked my communities: From a functional wellness standpoint, which do you think will play a more crucial role in the future of the cannabis industry?
The poll results were intriguing: 58% believe all cannabinoids are equally important, while minor cannabinoids garnered 20%, THC 18%, and CBD just 4%.
These results highlight a significant trend – the growing recognition of the synergy between cannabinoids. This synergy, often referred to as the entourage effect, suggests that the combined action of all cannabinoids creates a more potent effect than any single compound alone. It’s not about isolating one or two key players; it’s about leveraging the full spectrum of cannabinoids to unlock the true potential of cannabis for wellness.
As the industry evolves, understanding and embracing this holistic approach could be the key to revolutionizing functional wellness through cannabis.
