From Early Beginnings to Entrepreneurial Success

Aaron’s journey into entrepreneurship began at a remarkably young age. At just 13, he launched his first e-commerce company, Vision Again, setting the stage for a career defined by early adoption and innovation. “Starting that young allowed me to really understand the internet, social media, and e-commerce,” Aaron shared. This early immersion in digital marketing would prove instrumental in his later successes with ventures like Monq and ultimately Brēz.

The Power of Compliance and Innovation

One of Aaron’s most significant achievements was scaling Monq, a portable aromatherapy diffuser brand, from zero to $15 million in annual revenue. But this success didn’t come without its challenges. Aaron recalled the hurdles he faced when Meta initially rejected their ads, categorizing Monq as a vaporizer. “I wrote a very stern letter to Meta, and eventually, they agreed that our product was not a vaporizer,” Aaron recounted. This experience taught him the importance of understanding compliance rules and finding innovative ways to navigate them—a lesson that would later fuel the success of his advertising agency, Lucyd.

Brēz: Crafting Unique Experiences

At the heart of Brēz’s success is a commitment to crafting unique and enjoyable experiences rather than simply selling a product. “We’re not just trying to put THC in a can and sell it,” Aaron explained. “We’re focused on curating an effect experience that is different, more fun, and safer.” This radical focus on the experience has led to Brēz being recognized as one of the fastest-growing cannabis beverages in the world.

What sets Brēz apart is its meticulous attention to detail—from the quality of ingredients to the technology of processing. Aaron highlighted the use of co-active ingredients, such as Lion’s Mane and full-spectrum cannabinoids, which contribute to the brand’s distinctive effects. “Brēz just hits different,” Aaron noted, emphasizing that this difference is not solely due to any single ingredient but a combination of factors carefully curated to create a superior product.

Looking Ahead: The Future of Cannabis Beverages

As the cannabis industry continues to grow, Aaron sees a trend toward functional beverages that offer therapeutic and experiential benefits. “I think we’re going to see an expansion into new technologies of extraction and a broader focus on function,” he predicted.
